Trek to Grandma's and Grandpa's

After we opened gifts and the kids ate breakfast, we headed up to Grandma's and Grandpa's. The kids stayed occupied with some new drawing pads that Santa got them and Toy Story on the DVD player.

 

Christmas morning

Typically the kids, Elaine, get us up every morning. They both decided to sleep in on Christmas morning. We both got up, made breakfast and sat around for a couple minutes before we had to make a little extra noise to wake up the kids. As you can tell, Ethan is not a morning person.

Once we reminded them that Santa came last night, it was a mad rush to get down the stairs!

Woody and Buzz showed up at our house. The Toy Story movies are their favorite recently.

Christmas Eve

We have been explaining to the kids that tonight was Christmas Eve and that Santa was going to come and leave them some presents, but they had to be good. I think they actually bought it since they were great at church. Well, either that or the toys they had kept them busy.

Christmas Ever tradition in our house is that everyone gets one present on Christmas eve, Christmas PJ's!

Ethan thought he was going to open more presents and was not happy when we told him that he had to wait until tomorrow morning. Elaine on the other hand, was really excited about her new PJ's and slippers!

 

Phillip stops by for the day

Today we watched Phillip for the day. The kids has a blast playing with all the toys. Then they found the box of dress-up clothes that Elaine has. Sorry Timmy, I had to do it!

Haircuts

We had to get Ethans haircut for the Christmas picture. He did great, all he really cared about was the baloon he got afterwards. Elaine got her haircut for the first time today aslo. She did perfect for her first time!

Christmas with Miss Lizzy

Tonight we went out to dinner with Lizzy to Rio Grande for some Mexican food and exchange gifts for the kids. As always, Lizzy gave some great gifts that they kids look great in! So good that they wore them for the Santa picture this year.

These tree are going to be trouble in the years to come.....

Christmas With The Osborne's....Part 2

Christmas With The Osborne's....Part 1

Today The Osborne family began to assemble to celebrate Christmas together. The twins helped show their cousins Morgan and Jake the awesomeness of the Toy Story Trilogy.....lucky them!

Ethan and Elaine were finally allowed to use their dishes that their Grandma and Grandpa gave them back when they were born. They were both so excited to use them that they had to sit at the table a good 15 minutes before dinner was served.

I can't believe how well behaved they were. The tree was full of presents and they didn't even touch them or cry when we told them they had to wait until tomorrow morning to open them.

Aunt Jamies gave Elaine some of Morgan's old Disney princess dress up clothes......I'll just leave it at that!

SNOW DAYS

This morning we woke up to our first snow of the winter. The kids were very excited to get out there and play. It is so different from last year. We will definitely have to invest in some snow pants and boots for this winter.

After a trip down the slide into the snow, the twins were ready to come inside. They got to enjoy their first cup of hot chocolate. They were in heaven!

Pizza Madness

For Patrick's birthday back in August the twins had gotten him a french bread pizza maker. They love helping him cut the dough and put toppings on their individual pizza rectangle.

They especially like watching them bake....a Sunday night favorite!

We started the exciting task of putting the tree up today. The twins thought it was the best. Ethan quickly lost interest, but Elaine stuck with me for the entire decorating. She loved the ornaments.

Later that night they took some time out from playing "meerkats" to find their favorite ornament from their GG.

Happy Birthday Nonnie

Tonight we all went out to celebrate Nonnie's birthday. The twins had a blast snacking on breadsticks and mac n cheese. After dinner we headed back to Cincinnati. What a great Thanksgiving.

Learning to Share

The kids are slowly starting to share. We were in Urbana for Thanksgiving and I took all the kids to get slushies. Ethan and Elaine "shared" one, but the cup never left Ethan's hands! And yes, it was a PJ day.

Pit Stop With Grandma & Grandpa

Grandma & Grandpa stopped for the night on their way home from St. Louis. We went out to dinner and relaxed at home. The twins were sad to see them leave but will see them soon for Christmas.

Company for Lunch

Uncle Timmy and Phillip came over today while Aunt Melissa was at worked. The kids had a blast eating lunch together. Phillip even used sat at a chair without the booster!...he's getting too big!

Long drive home from St. Louis

The kids have always been good travelers, mostly because we bribe them with French Fries and movies. This time Ethan got ahold of some chocolate while watching some Backyardigans. I wish that I could eat fries and watch movies in my PJ's without a care in the world!

Dinner with GG

Today we broke GG out of the rehab facility and made her dinner at her house. After dinner the kids had cookies from Aunt Jean. We were able to get them away from the cookies for a minute to get a group photo of all the kids.
