Dolphin Encounter

 

Today we docked in Cozumel.  We got the chance of a lifetime and had a dolphin encounter.  We got to pet, kiss, dance and ride a dolphin.  The twins were amazed as were all of the adults!

A Full Day at Sea

Today was a full day at sea.  The kids wanted to hit the pool so we slathered up in sun screen and enjoyed the tropical weather out on the deck.

A Week at Sea Begins!

  Yesterday and today was full of travel.  We started with flying into Tampa on Sunday.  It was the twins' first plane ride and they were both excited and very well behaved.  We got into Tampa late and grabbed a hotel for the night.  The next day we had a great breakfast and headed to board the ship.

The twins are surprised by Nonie and Poppy with a gift in their room on the ship.  They each got a great backpack, towel and swim googles.  Thanks Nonie and Poppy!

A Visit From Montgomery's Finest

Today at the pool, Montgomery's Fire and Police departments brought in their vehicles for the kids to play on and explore.  We took a break from swimming so the kids could check it all out.

Hopefully the only time I'll see them in the back of a police car!!!

Father's Day Presents

Today the twins and I headed to the Mad Potter to make Patrick a special Father's Day present.  They loved painting him coffee cups and cannot wait until they are ready to pick up.  Now I just have to keep them from telling him before we pick them up.

 

 

Taste of Cincy

 Today we met up with Aunt Melissa, Uncle Timmy, Phillip, and Amelia at the Taste of Cincinnati.  The kids had fun trying different foods but their favorite time was on the rides.

Hunting for Baskets and Eggs

Today the twins woke up and immediately ran around to find their baskets.  After that excitement, we headed to church and then had brunch.  After lunch, Aunt Melissa, Uncle Timmy, Phillip and Amelia came over for an Easter egg hunt in the backyard.  What fun!

Tonight the twins colored Easter Eggs for the Easter Bunny.  They had a lot of fun experimenting with colors and getting the eggs ready for their baskets.

Tampa

After two nights in Jacksonville, we headed down to St. Petersburg to stay with my friend Sonya.  We went on a run along the bay, took a trip to downtown for some light shopping, hit the art museum, and then came back to meet up with Sonya's daughters after school to swim in their pool.

We were lucky enough that my friend's Angie and Chris allowed us to stay with them in Jacksonville for two nights.  What fun catching up and letting the kids hangout with each other.  We went to the beach and had a wonderful time.  The warm temperatures were much needed and the water temperature wasn't bad at all.

 

 Elaine has learned to write her name at school this year and likes to show it off whenever she can!

 After a day at the beach we hungout at the house and took a quick trip to the park to run off some energy.  Hard to believe they still had energy but they ran around like crazy!
