Our First Picnic
Tonight we went to Patrick's company picnic. It was a gorgeous day. The kids loved the food, Elaine munched on a cheese dog while Ethan stuck to his chips.
Old McEthan Had a Farm
On our way out of the picnic Ethan decided that he was on a farm and there were cows all over....don't ask, we have no clue where that one came from!

Hoop Dreams
Jenny bought a baksetball hoop for the kids at the Twins Sale last weekend. Ethan has especially taken a liking to this and loves to play "Basket!" as he calls it. Take a look at Ethan sinking a shot from about 5 feet away.
Swinging and Singing
The kids have started to take a liking to the play set we got in the backyard, FINALLY! Here they are swinging and singing the Barney song. They must have picked this up at daycare since they have never watched Barney at our house.

Another Trip to the Zoo!
I promised the kids a trip to the zoo to see the animals. They both have been really interested in animals recently. They really love the elephants.
Ethan pouting that we had to leave the Elephants.
They already forgot about leaving the elephants and on to the next animals running down the path.
And a trip to the zoo is not complete without a ride on the train!

Camping Fun
Elaine showing everyone her new backpack. She told everyone she could find that she is going to school with her backpack.
Ethan ending the night with a cup of milk and some smores in his PJ's next to the campfire.
Ethan keeping a close eye on his cheese crackers next to the campfire.
Dinner at the picinic table. Elaine has always loved eating corn. Meanwhile, Ethan is wondering where all the chips went. "More Chips", Ethan would say and ignoring his dinner.
Camping Sleeping Buddies
Camping has become alot easier w/o portable cribs. Now the kids sleep on the mattress with their inflatable beds they love so much. It got a little cold one night camping and we went to check on the kids and this is what we found.
