Little Helpers

The kids helped us start fall cleanup in the yard. They were excited to play in the woods and pile up the logs.

Last camping trip of the season

We were able to sneak one more camping trip in with the kids. Aunt Jamies and Morgan were there to help out with the kids. They were able to paint some pumpkins.

Ethan the Chef

The kids have recently taken a liking to "helping" Mommy and Daddy do things around the house. The jury is still out on whether or not they are actually helping us. Ethan decided he wanted to help Daddy make some chili.

A Day with Mama

Since we moved the kids to big boy/girl beds, they have needed some more things for their rooms. Jenny took the kids shopping. They were very helpful with carrying the packages to the car so that Mommy would not have to.

As a thank you for their help, Jenny took the kids out to lunch at Chipolte.

Lion King 3D!

Tonight we took the kids to Lion King 3D and they loved it! Elaine was dancing in her chair, also in the aisles, and Ethan ate popcorn the entire time. Honestly, his hand was in the bag the entire time.

Mickey and Goofy come to town!

Disney is opening a new store at our mall and Mickey and Goofy came to help. The kids thought they were going to Disney World, but we explained to them that they were here for a visit. Mickey was on break but we got to get a good picture with Goofy!

Afterward, we hit the food court for the kids favorite foods. Elaine loves Chipolte and Ethan loves chicken and fries from any restaurant.

Fun with Amelia and Phillip!

Tonight we went out for pizza with Timmy, Melissa, Phillip and Amelia. Afterwards we brought the kids back to play and blow off some steam.

Elaine wanted to show Aunt Melissa how she can twirl.

All the kids wanted to play dress up and get into Princess outfits...... By the time they were done it looked like a tornado hit the basement! But at least they had fun.

Rain Day at the Campgrounds......

Well, we got rained out on Saturday night into Sunday. Luckily, we all stayed dry but we needed to find something to entertain the kids. The Air Force museum is close by. The kids loved looking at the hangers and hangers full of planes and even got to go into a real space suit.

We decided to bring the kids tricycles camping with is so they can ride on the road around us. They absolutely love it! They will go back and forth until they need a juice break.

Camping!

Labor day camping is always a good time and it's not a camping trip without a couple scrapes and bruises. Not even a couple hours after we got there, Ethan fell and "hurt" his nose. I really think he just wanted to have a Ironman band aid on his nose. He was all better when he saw the Weinermobile pull in to the campgrounds!

Later that night, we made smores for the kids. That is their favorite part of camping.

Old McDonald's!

As a special treat today, for being good while we ran errands and Ethan getting his haircut, we took the kids to Old McDonald's. That is what they call McDonald's. Ethan is so proudly displaying his toy from the happy meal he got.

Taste of Blue Ash

We had some friends come into town to visit and also met up with another set of twins for the Blue Ash festival . The kids loved all the rides and did not want to stop. Here is Owen, Olivia, Oliver and Grace having fun on the Cars ride.

I had fun with the kids trying to spin the Monkey Barrel faster and faster. Elaine wanted me to keep going as fast as I could. We got it going so fast they actually locked the barrel from spinning..... Ethan was just giggling and giggling the entire time. Owen did not look so hot after this ride.

Naked day!

Jenny and I were cleaning up the house for some friends to come over and we came down stairs to the kids riding around on the scooters, naked.....

ICE CREAM!

Tonight we took the kids out for Graeter's Ice Cream as a treat. They had alot of fun eating out of the cone. Typically we get them a cup, but they saw other kids eating out of a cone and had to try it for themselves....

1st day of Preschool!!

Today was the first day of Preschool for the kids. They were excited to bring their backpacks, lunch boxes and Pillow Pets!

Camping weeknd for Patrick's Birthday

We went camping this weekend to celebrate the kids moving onto Preschool and also to celebrate Patrick's Birthday. The kids had so much fun riding their bikes, actually tricycles, and they got to ride the train.

Later we had cupcakes and the kids helped Daddy blow out the candle.

Last Day at Bev the babysitters....

This was bittersweet day for us. They stopped going to Bevs full time for Preschool on Monday. Jenny made the kids a cake to take to Bevs to share with all the kids. Recently, the kids have been into Spiderman so they asked if Jenny would make them a Spiderman cake.

Henry's 2nd Birthday

We went up to Hudson this weekend to celebrate Henry's 2nd Birthday. Phillip, Ethan and Elaine were willing to lend a hand to Henry opening presents..
