Learning to Share

The kids are slowly starting to share. We were in Urbana for Thanksgiving and I took all the kids to get slushies. Ethan and Elaine "shared" one, but the cup never left Ethan's hands! And yes, it was a PJ day.

Uncle Timmy and Phillip came over today while Aunt Melissa was at worked. The kids had a blast eating lunch together. Phillip even used sat at a chair without the booster!...he's getting too big!

Long drive home from St. Louis

The kids have always been good travelers, mostly because we bribe them with French Fries and movies. This time Ethan got ahold of some chocolate while watching some Backyardigans. I wish that I could eat fries and watch movies in my PJ's without a care in the world!

Dinner with GG

Today we broke GG out of the rehab facility and made her dinner at her house. After dinner the kids had cookies from Aunt Jean. We were able to get them away from the cookies for a minute to get a group photo of all the kids.

Uncle Roy having some fun with the kids.

Slumber Party at GG's

We brought some toys to GG's but they were more excited to play with the flashlights that they found. The kids wanted to go "exploring" at GG's. In a very rare moment, we were able to get them all in the same spot to relax for a couple minutes and watch Toy Story 3. Of course, the flashlights had to come with them.

Little Musicans

The kids found 2 harmonicas while at Uncle Nancy's and Uncle Jim's. It took a couple minutes to figure them out, but here is the best they could do.

A Very Busy Day With Family

Saturday was a busy day! We started at the Science Center. All of the kids had a lot of fun.....minus Henry who slept the whole time! The kids ran around like loons and were so well behaved. They loved the overpass of the highway where they had glass cutouts you could walk on and see cars below zooming past. Personally it freaked me out!

After we felt the kids had sufficiently ran off enough energy we headed out to visit GG. Her current place is very nice. Everyone there loved the kids running around and they had a blast visiting with GG, Aunt Jean and putting together a Woody puzzle.

After our visit with GG we went back to the house for a short rest time and then headed out to Aunt Nancy and Uncle Jim's. We had a wonderful visit with everyone there. Aunt Kathy, Uncle Don, little Nancy, Mark, Michael, Alicia, Jennifer, Tom and all the grandkids were able to come. It was so nice of them to put that together and we had so much fun visiting and watching the show the Michael and Jennifer's girls put on for the adults. The kids were out within a minute of us leaving, they definitely wore themselves out!

We've Come a Long Way

I thought this was fun to look at.....two years later!

They definitely don't need me to hold them anymore! What happened to my babies?!

A Trip to the Patch

Today the twins, Phillip, Aunt Melissa, and I went to a pumkin patch. It was the same patch we took the twins to two years ago right before poor Ethan came down with croup.

Everyone had a blast especially on the hayride through the forest. The kids also enjoyed checking out the goat.

An Overnight Visitor

Tonight the twins had their cousin Phillip sleep over. Patrick and I braved the unkown by taking all three to the store. Everyone had a good time and Elaine was very excited to ride in the car with Phillip.

HallZOOween

The kids needed to get some practice for this weekend, so we took them to HallZOOween at the Cincinnati Zoo. The kids wanted to get into their costumes and get some CANDY! They are meerkats this year, even though if you asked them they are lions.

Here are the kids getting ready at home. The loved having tails for some reason and had to hold onto them. .

The kids ride at the zoo.

Elaine getting to pick out a little pumpkin

Not so happy when one of the treat stations gave out toothbrushes...

They have no fear when it comes to animals. I would not come close to the snake.

Ethan decided that he wanted to help pull the wagon, we all know how this goes.

The kids on the carousel. Ethan picked out the Giraffe and Elaine wanted the Wolf.

Aunt Jamies Birthday

We all went out to dinner to Olive Garden for Jamies Birthday. It is one of her favorite places to eat. I think the kids were more excited then Jamie about the cake!

A Day with Aunt Jamies

Aunt Jamies, as the kids call her, took the kids to Youngs Dairy for the fall festival. They got to see lots of goats, pigs and cows. After the petting zoo, they found the bouncy house and the hay stack.

Elaine loved the slide at the councy house.

Ethan, liked riding the tractor.

Fun on the haystack playground:
