While the Cat's Away, the Mice Will.......SLEEP!

This week Patrick and the twins stayed home while I went to play on my softball team. I left with everyone happy and alert. I came back to very sleepy twins and a very HAPPY Daddy! Looks like he lucked out on this day.

Playtime is Almost Here

Tummy time training is starting to pay off! Ethan is definitely getting the hang of it, Elaine has little more training to go. She is starting to enjoy the "flip side" of the playmat!

Aunt Chris Brings the Warm Weather

The weather has been absolutely beautiful this week. Is it a coincidence that my Aunt Chris (from Florida) also came this week? Nonie and Aunt Chris came down for the evening and spent some quality cuddling time with Ethan and Elaine.





Ethan felt so comfy being cuddled by them, he dozed off and was asleep when they left....what a surprise!

Too Cute for Words

Just a couple of cute pictures from random events. One is a little blurry because Miss Elaine was laughing and moving too much!

Two Month Checkup!!!!!

Today was the 2 month checkup. For those not familiar with this, it means they each got 4 shots and a flu vaccine that they drank! Needless to say, we forgot the camera and were NOT upset about it. We were mortified and felt so bad for them that all we wanted to do was comfort them. We would have never gotten the camera out anyway. Once we got home and fed them, they slept and slept. Except for waking them up for their 10:30 feedings, Elaine slept for about 10 hours and Ethan slept for about 9 hours! I quickly snapped a picture of Ethan during his slumber and took a video of Elaine since she was moving in the swing.

The Kids first Bumbo expirence

We tried the kids in the Bumbo chairs. Ethan seems to like it a lot better then Elaine. We took some pics and a short movie of each one.

First Trip to Urbana

The kids made their first trip to Urbana on Monday. Jenny took the kids to Jamie & Jan's work at Urbana University (Jenny's Alma Mater).

After that the kids got to hang out with the self-proclaimed Urbana Supper Club.

Relaxing day at the Zoo

After the full house weekend Jenny and I decided to take the kids to the zoo again. It is real easy for us since the zoo is only 10 minutes away and we are members. The kids seem to like being pushed around the zoo.

Uncle Bob

Uncle Bob came into town for the weekend also and needed a place to sleep. We had a full house this weekend with Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle Bob. Even with the full house the weekend was a blast. Who are these two handsome guys feeding Ethan & Elaine?

Grandma & Grandpa Barker Visit

This weekend grandma and grandpa barker came to visit the kids. They got to expirence what it is like to have 2 infants in the house. Grandpa and Ethan relaxing on the couch.

Indoor Winter Softball

To stay in shape during the cold months, our softball team decided to take up bowling! Here are some shots on the last night....softball starts next week! Pictured above is Zac who shows that Elaine is not the only one who is hungry!

Good Day Mate!

The Heubi's came today to visit Ethan and Elaine. I think they passed the cuteness test performed by Dr. Heubi!
Of course they had adorable outfits in tote for the twins. The rompers pictured below were brought back from their recent trip to Australia. Way too cute!!!!!
